Karl Fischer Coulometry for Cathode Electrode Moisture Measure

 

Abstract Electrode sheet is an important part of finished lithium battery, which is generally divided into cathode and anode electrode sheet. In this experiment, use TOB-AKF-CH6 all-in-one machine to measure the moisture content of cathode electrode sample.
Experimental conditions: ambient temperature 25ºC; Ambient humidity≤30%

Measure method 1. Turn on the TOB-AKF-CH6 moisture tester and add an appropriate amount of Karl Fischer reagent to the titration tank to ensure that the reagent is between the maximum and minimum scale.
2. Before opening the nitrogen cylinder, set and adjust the air volume and temperature.
3. Wait for blank electrolysis balance test of the instrument.
4. For sample testing, take appropriate amount of sample into the sample bottle, place it on the heating tank, connect the heating tracing tube, click start measurement, then sample, input relevant parameters, and wait for the measurement results

Abstract

Lithium battery electrolyte is the carrier of ion transport in the battery, which is generally composed of lithium salts and organic solvents. TOB-AKF-CH6 was used to measure the water content in the electrolyte sample.
