The supercapacitor cells(Jelly roll) flatting machine is mainly suitable for battery and supercapacitor cells shaping, so that the positive and negative end faces are compact and flat, and it is convenient for laser welding with the upper and lower electrode.

Work process description
Feeding
The cell is discontinuously discharged from the feeding tank and rolled into the cell automatic feeding device in turn. The automatic feeding device will hold the cell and move it to the press position
Pressing
The first process of the battery core -- pressing, the two ends of the battery core are pre-pressed to a predetermined shape uniformly by a press-shaped mold.
First pre-shaping
The battery core is intermittently discharged from the feed tank, and then rolled into the battery tray in turn. The robot holds the battery core to the spinning station, and the battery core is shaped by the mold for the first time to determine the backward direction of the battery electrode.
Secondary pre-shaping
The left and right shaping molds work at the same time, the cylinder drives the indenter to advance, and the second pre-pressing is performed, so that the substrate is further regular fell down and the left and right shaping heads are returned to the original position.
Final shaping (Cell short circuit testing/ Cell resistance testing)
The automatic feeding device will hold the cell and move to the final shaping station, and the left and right shaping parts will work at the same time. The cylinder drives the flat press head forward and adjusts the pressure. The left and right cylinder adopts the adjustable stroke, and the precise and rigid limit of the stroke, so as to ensure the shaping length.
During the shaping process, the product is tested for short circuit/resistance.
When the test is good, the left and right shaping head is returned to the original position, and then the cell is supported by the automatic feeding device and moved to the outgoing cell, and the material is automatically discharged from the discharge tank.
When the test is for defective product, the automatic operation will be suspended, the equipment indicator will turn red and alarm, the touch screen will display the alarm content, take out the defective product and press the short-circuit reset button, and the equipment will continue to resume the automatic operation.
